A look at Moon and Lola's downtown Raleigh store.

— Still looking for that perfect Mother's Day gift? We have a few places you might want to check out.

The Cotton Company (Wake Forest) - Head to downtown Wake Forest to browse tons of vendors offering crafts, jewelry, clothing and even art. A wide selection helps make this a great place for one-stop shopping.

For the fashionista mom: Moon and Lola (Raleigh, Apex) - Monogrammed necklaces and unique earrings and more help make this local shop one of our favorite spots to stop for jewelry. A necklace with the initials of each child and mom's is sure to please! I got one for myself last year and love it!

Another great pick is Stitch in Raleigh. Any mom would be thrilled to get a new Holly Aiken bag from this downtown Raleigh shop.

Dine and Shop: Take mom to lunch and enjoy some shopping after at one of our a favorite dine and shop places. Relish (Raleigh), NoFo at the Pig (Raleigh), Southern Season (Chapel Hill) and Parker and Otis (Durham) all offer great food and shopping options after.

Spa gift cards: Pamper mom with a gift card for a hot stone massage or facial. Our favorite spas include Skin Sense (Raleigh), Healing Waters Spa and Cosmetic Clinic (Durham) and The Umstead (Cary).

Entertainment: Tickets to an upcoming production at the Durham Performing Arts Center or summer concert in the area could be a great selection. Perfect for Mother's Day, "Driving Miss Daisy" starring Sandy Duncan is playing Fletcher Opera Theater in Raleigh through Sunday.
