Revelers celebrate New Year's Eve at The Oxford on Dec. 31, 2012.

— Whether it is a holiday work party or a formal New Year's Eve bash, most women will be hitting the stores searching for that perfect dress.

Here is our list for the five best places in Raleigh to find that holiday outfit.

Bevello (Raleigh) - Bevello is always one of my go-tos when I am looking for a cocktail dress and they never disappoint. With two locations, one at Crabtree Mall and one in Cameron Village, they have a wide selection with a ton of great designers. I picked up one of my Christmas party dresses from their Crabtree location last week.

Fab'rik (Raleigh) - Fab'rik is one of my favorite stores in Raleigh and one thing they definitely know how to do is fun cocktail dresses. If you are looking for a great New Year's Eve dress that will be sure to keep all eyes on you, this is your shopping destination. From fun sparkly dresses to the perfect little black dress, they have it all. Their friendly staff is also great at helping you find the perfect outfit for any occasion.Bevello at Crabtree

Hayley's Boutique (Raleigh) -  When I first moved to Raleigh last year everyone told me this is where you need to go for party dresses and they were right. Located in North Hills, they have an awesome selection and have great jewelry and handbags to finish off your look.

Vestique (Raleigh) - Vestique carries more casual dresses than the other stores on our list which is perfect for when you have an event to attend but don't want to be overdressed. These are great dresses for a holiday get-together at a friend's house or an office party during work hours.

Peachy Keen (Raleigh, Cary) - Peachy Keen has so many cute party dresses it is impossible to leave with just one! They have a great selection of designers and run a lot of good deals. I am in love with the dresses from their Tart Collection.

What are some of your favorite places to shop for a holiday dress outside of Raleigh?
