Beloved bulldog is namesake of mountaintop golf club

The Olde Beau Golf and Country Club, located on a mountain in Roaring Gap, is partly owned by longtime college basketball sportscaster Billy Packer and named for a dog. Beau the dog is buried beside the 15th green.
