Beer facial? Umstead Spa shares recipe
Well, it is NC Beer Month! The Umstead Spa offers a simple facial recipe featuring your favorite beer.

CARY, N.C. — To help celebrate North Carolina Beer Month, why not treat your skin to a facial featuring your favorite brew!
The Umstead's Spa Director Carolyn Doe recently shared this recipe with us for a Beer Facial. The beer's yeast helps balance the pH levels in skin and targets bacteria that can cause breakouts.
NC Beer Facial recipe
What you'll need:
For oily skin: 2 tablespoons of egg whites
For dry skin: 2 tablespoons of egg yolks and a vitamin E capsule
2 tablespoons of your favorite North Carolina Beer
What to do:
Wisk together and apply to the skin with a cotton ball
Allow to dry for about 20 minutes
Apply a wet warm towel to loosen the mask
Rinse well until the entire mask is removed
Note: If you are allergic to any ingredients in the recipe just don't use them.
