Beer dinner, 50 Shades highlight the week ahead

RALEIGH, N.C. — Monday: Beer month officially kicks off today, so why not celebrate at the No Foolin' Beer Dinner at Big Boss Brewing Company tonight. They have teamed up with the Q Shack to offer a seven beer and four course plus dessert picnic style beer dinner. This casual work event starts sat 7 p.m. and will include chocolate bacon cupcakes topped with maple butter cream and candied bacon. It is $26 per person.
Tuesday: 50 Shades! The Musical, a parody of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" phenomenon, starts its run at Fletcher Opera Hall in Raleigh on Tuesday. Tickets start at $30.
Wednesday: Eric Clapton and the Wallflowers will play PNC Arena on Wednesday night. Tickets start at $46.
Thursday: Polos and Pearls at Solas will raise money for the MS Society of the Greater Carolinas. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door.
