A person was pulled from Harris Lake on Friday, and a search is underway for a second boater. A spokesperson told WRAL News two men who were out fishing crashed into a cement pole in the water and were thrown from the boat.

Deputies searching for suspects who robbed a BB&T bank.

<b>NEWTON GROVE, N.C.</b> — Sampson County sheriff's deputies are searching for two suspects who robbed a BB&T bank branch in Newton Grove Thursday morning.

The men fled the area on foot, although a suspicious burgundy car was seen in the area before the robbery occurred. Police do not know if the vehicle is connected to the robbery or not.

The robbery happened about 9:15 a.m. There were no reported injuries.
