Baby nearly drowns in Fayetteville
Cumberland County sheriff's detectives are investigating the near accidental drowning of 1-year-old girl on Friday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff's detectives are investigating the near drowning of a 1-year-old girl Friday evening.
The baby was found in a backyard pool at 1032 Four Wood Drive in Fayetteville around 5:17 p.m, according to sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Tanna.
The child was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where she was listed in critical condition on Saturday.
No further information was released.
