I hope it was just a tragic accident. As a parent, I know these things can happen. And at 6 mos babies are starting to roll, etc, so if you take your eyes and hands off of them, yes they can fall.

Accidents happen. (To be fair, I have no kids, so I know zero about how they are at that age. I don't know if they walk then or sleep all night at that age - I'm clueless). However, accidents happen.

Sometimes things can appear one way, very much so, and be completely the opposite.

How did this baby fall? Where was the person who was suppose to be watching this innocent baby? Someone did not protect this baby and that is so sad.

I heard this come over the police scanner. The father was the only one home and said the child fell of a changing table or some piece of furniture, I don't remember which.

This is so difficult for the parents. Babies are squirmy wriggly things. Anything can happen. Years ago I was holding my daughter normally when she suddenly shifted away from me and... out of my arms she went. Very thankfully, she landed on the sofa. It could have very well been a bad thing.

My thoughts are with the baby and parents.

there is NOT enough info yet to form concrete opinions. Granted it does sound a bit off but accidents DO happen, even to 6 month olds.
