BLUFTON, SOUTH CAROLINA — A boy named Romeo and a girl named Juliet were born 18 hours apart at the same hospital in Blufton, South Carolina on Sunday and Monday.

Both parents said they picked the names early in their pregnancies and did not know of eachother until they met at the hospital.

Parents Morgan and Edwin Hernandez welcomed Romeo on Sunday, while Christiana and Allen Shifflett welcomed Juliet on Monday in the next room at Coastal Carolina Hospital.

Photographer Cassie Clayshulte captured photos of the babies

"It's Romeo and Juliet without the tragedy part and with love instead,'' Cassie Clayshulte told TODAY. "Halfway through shooting Romeo it took me a minute to put it together how neat this was and how rare of a coincidence this was."
