Autopsy: Woman shot eight times in RTP murder-suicide

Adrianne Celeste Stevens, 22, had three gunshot wounds in her back, two in her shoulders and one each in her right side, hip, neck and left wrist, according to the autopsy released Thursday. She also had a possible gunshot wound to her right wrist.

Stevens, Alexandria J. "AJ" Baker Pierce, 23, and Amesha Alia Page-Smith, 24, were found dead in a parked car near Park Office Drive and N.C. Highway 54 on June 10.

The body of Brinton Millsap, 23, of 8 Mellon Court in Durham, was nearby, and authorities believe he shot the women with a .45-caliber handgun and then killed himself.

Autopsies showed that Pierce was shot 13 times, including once in the head, and that Page-Smith was shot four times while sitting in the driver's seat.

Stevens' mother said Pierce and Millsap were dating and that the four had been friends since elementary school. They all attended Durham's Southern High School at one time.

Pierce was a senior at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro studying English, and Page-Smith was one course shy of a psychology degree from North Carolina A&T University, school officials said.

Millsap was a basketball player at Arkansas Bible College.
