BROADWAY, N.C. — An autopsy report released Monday shows a Harnett County man found dead in his home in May overdosed on morphine.

Jonathan Brian Lester, 34, and his wife, Tina Marie Lester, 37, were found inside their home at 72 Emerald Lane in Broadway on May 16, according to the Harnett County Sheriff's Office.

Tina Marie Lester's cause of death was released in July.

Tina Lester had a lethal amount of morphine in her blood high above the prescribed dosage, the autopsy found. She had knee and hip problems and had been prescribed morphine.

The report on Jonathan Lester confirms he too died of acute morphine toxicity.

Authorities have said they don't suspect foul play in the deaths.
