A man found dead at a Pittsboro home in December was stabbed to death, according to an autopsy report released Monday.

PITTSBORO, N.C. — A man found dead at a Pittsboro home in December was stabbed to death, according to an autopsy report released Monday.
Christopher Eugene Peterson was stabbed once in the back with the weapon piercing his left lung, the report into the 26-year-old's Dec. 23, death said.
Police arrested Demetrius John Johnson, 24, of Apex, on charges of first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Investigators haven't commented on the case, and it's unclear if Peterson and Johnson knew each other.
