— Two people found dead in a bathtub in his Mount Olive home three months ago had been strangled, according to autopsy reports.

Tyrone "TJ" Beamon Jr., 27, and his girlfriend, Shaundrea Juanette Milhouse, 21, of Knightdale, were found dead on Nov. 5 at 638 Waller Road.

Investigators said they believe the couple was killed at least a day before their bodies were found.

Beamon's 3-year-old son and Milhouse's children – ages 4 years and 9 months – were found inside the home unharmed.

Beamon's hands had been bound behind his back with a shoestring, and a sheet was found "tied and looped loosely" around his neck, according to the autopsy report. He also suffered blunt-force injuries to his head, neck, upper body and legs, and his right wrist was broken.

Wayne County authorities have released few details into the investigation of the case, saying only that the home didn't appear to be ransacked and that drugs didn't appear to be involved.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office and Beamon's family are each offering $3,000 rewards for information leading to an arrest in the case.
