Autopsy Awaited in Death of Chatham Woman
Authorities are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death of a woman whose body was found in her house Saturday morning.
Posted — UpdatedPITTSBORO, N.C. — Authorities are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death of a woman whose body was found in her house Saturday morning.
Tracy Baldwin, 38, was found in the bedroom of her home on Red Pine Road in northern Chatham County, authorities said. Deputies had gone to the house to check on her after her parents said they hadn't heard from her in a week.
Authorities said it appeared Baldwin had been dead less than two days.
The case is being treated as a homicide.
