Glad I use bitcoin. 100% impossible to counterfeit. No identity to steal. If you rob me you still cannot spend them, No silly 3%-5% credit card fees. No bank to go to. Glad Im paying attention.

Exactly. If I need cash, I get it from the bank as much as possible. I pretty much use the credit card for everything I can. I hate getting $100 bills - although the new ones look pretty hard to counterfeit.

As some whom also runs a small, busy business, it sounds like an excuse to me. You always have time for your number one product.. MONEY. You can't make any unless you are taking in real bills. I know it gets busy, but you've gotta slow down and take the time to mark them. Did you know the new hundreds have been reported as counterfeits? Yeap that's right, they are now making the fake 100's that just came out. So heads up.. Mark those too! 100's, 50's, 20's, 10's, and even 5's. If you have a bunch of fake bills... you have a bunch of nothing. Just saying.

As someone who runs a small business at the flea market, we get counterfeits frequently. Sometimes we are able to catch them right away and the police take them in, but sometimes it's too late. And it's not just $20's, most of them have been $10's lately. We have the pens, we check the best we can but sometimes you are busy and can't check every bill handed to you.

One lady was giving fake $10's to her kids and having them buy $1 items from several vendors. Luckily a few of us figured it out quick enough and got her caught. And for those of us just trying to make a living running a legitimate business, it hurts because we have no recourse.

Also i refer back to the same old defense. I am sure there are plenty of citizens in countries all over the world that said, "Our government would never do that to us". I am not saying hide yo kids and hide yo wife, but maybe you trust a little to easily. How many rights and how much privacy are you willing to give up for "safety"? Cause the government will definitely take that trade off. I give you the NSA as an example.

Maybe you guys should actully read the article before discarding it huh? It clearly states that right now it is not feasible, but with the way technology is advancing you can easily see them being able to make the chip able to use GPS. If you think they won't you must be crazy. I mean technology wise, they are definitely going to get there. I am saying to tell someone they need a tin foil hat when the basic technology is already there makes you come off as ill informed and short sighted. Its not "crazy" to think it can happen.
