Spring Lake, N.C. — Cumberland County detectives will be in Spring Lake Tuesday canvassing for more information about the death of a 68-year-old man who was found inside his home on Rutherford Drive Sunday.
An anonymous 911 call led to the discovery of James Williams, also known as "Esaw," about 5 p.m., authorities said.
Authorities have not said how Williams died or why they suspect his death is a homicide. The state medical examiner will perform an autopsy.
Anyone with information about Williams' death should call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at 910-323-1500.
