Moncure woman arrested in Chapel Hill bank robbery
The Chatham County Sheriff's Office arrested a 28-year-old woman in connection with a Thursday robbery at a Chapel Hill bank.
Posted — UpdatedCHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 28-year-old woman in connection with a Thursday robbery at a Chapel Hill bank.
Authorities said Rebecca Amy Stasko, of 3259 Chatham Church Road, Moncure, was wearing a blonde wig when she entered the First Citizens Bank at 53 Chatham Downs Drive and demanded money from a teller.
Stasko was arrested and charged with one count of felony robbery with a dangerous weapon.
She was being held under a $80,000 secure bond and was expected in court on Nov. 14.
