Authorities investigating residential building fire in Raleigh

Raleigh, N.C. — Authorities are investigating a residential building fire that occurred near the intersection of Strickland and Lead Mine roads, in Raleigh, late Saturday evening.
The flames broke out at about 9:10 p.m. at at 1426 Quarter Point Drive.
One of the four townhomes attached to the building sustained significant first and second floor damage, while the other three units suffered moderate smoke damage, officials said.
Authorities said they notified the Red Cross to help with any displaced occupants.
Lead Mine Road is currently closed and one lane is open for traffic on Strickland Road, according to authorities.
No further information has been released.
