Authorities investigate suspicious Goldsboro death
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that detectives are investigating the death of a man in his Goldsboro home.
Posted — UpdatedGOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that detectives are investigating the death of a man in his Goldsboro home.
The body of Ralph Exum Jones, 81, was found by some friends at about 11:30 p.m. at 496 Slick Rock Road, authorities said.
His body has been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, authorities said. No other details were released.
