Publicist: Prince dead at age 57
Pop superstar Prince was found dead inside his recording studios, known as Paisley Park, outside Minneapolis on Thursday.
Posted — UpdatedThe Carver County Sherriff's Office tweeted that they were investigating a death there, and Carver County Chief Sheriff's Deputy Jason Kamerud told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that officials would withhold information about the identity of the deceased person until next of kin has been notified.
A publicist told The Associated Press that the dead person was indeed Prince.
Prince was reported to have been hospitalized in Illinois on Friday on his way back from a concert in Atlanta. He subsequently appeared at a dance party at Paisley Park.
