DURHAM, N.C. — State law enforcement officials removed three adults and two small children from a home in the 800 block of Mineral Springs Road Friday night after finding an active meth lab inside, according to Maj. Paul Martin of the Durham County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities identified the adults as Crystal White, Albert Carroll and Daniel Johnson but said that no criminal charges had been filed yet.

The children were being cared for elsewhere while the adults were being questioned, Martin said.

Deputies and agents with the State Bureau of Investigation worked together on the investigation, and deputies were cleaning up the potentially toxic scene, Martin said.
