Franklinton, N.C. — U.S. Highway 1 south of Franklinton was closed most of the day Saturday due to an overturned tractor-trailer.
The wreck happened about 6:30 a.m. when the tractor-trailer lost control, and officials with the N.C. Department of Transportation re-opened the road just about 12 hour later.
No details about the cause of the wreck or any injuries were released. No other vehicles were involved.
