Authorities cancel Silver Alert for NCCU professor

— North Carolina Central University police ended their search early Friday for a missing math professor.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons canceled its Silver Alert for Gary Marvin Brady at about 1 a.m.

No other information about Brady's disappearance has been released.

    It's quite possible. It really all depends on the nature of the impairment, and how it affects the person's daily life.

    It's not unlike physical impairments, in that they don't have to be fully debilitating. Say I lost a hand, that's a physical impairment that may keep me from becoming a professional juggler, but I could still be a long-distance runner, or any number of other things.

    I hope they find him. My question is, a silver alert is for someone with a cognative impairment. Is he still teaching with a cognative impairment?
