Authorities cancel Silver Alert for 22-year-old Raleigh man

— Wake County authorities halted their search on Thursday for a 22-year-old man who went missing Wednesday from a group home in Raleigh. 

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons canceled its Silver Alert for Ace Sintail-Alexander Loleit at about 1 a.m. Thursday, about 24 hours after it was issued when he walked away from the Tender Touch group home on Anne Avenue. 

No other information about Loleit's disappearance was released.

    ohyoupeople, this is someone who wandered off from a group home. Obviously you don't understand what that means.

    Adults in group homes are there because they are unable to live on their own due to their mental impairment. Many of them need supervision and assistance with day-to-day activities. They are easily preyed upon by people who would take advantage of them.

    PS - A lack of compassion aside, I assume you are mentally and physically able to care for yourself, so you are comparing apples to oranges here.
