HAMPTON, GA — The final week of Thursday Thunder will feature racing and a prize give-away from Atlanta Motor Speedway Saturday, Aug. 5.

The high-definition RCA television will be the largest electronic prize that AMS has ever given away in the 60-years that the track has been in Hampton. It will be awarded prior to the evening's scheduled feature races, and fans can sign up to win it at no extra cost at the AMS information table, located on the concourse and just under the Champions Grandstand.

The TV giveaway is just one of several planned promotions celebrating the final event in this year's 20th Anniversary Season of Thursday Thunder. Further announcements regarding the unique Saturday-night event will be made in the coming weeks.

In anticipation of the overwhelming response to the giveaway, 500 fans who register but don't win the giant TV will each receive one free small screen.

The Thursday Thunder Legends Series presented by Papa John's Pizza continues with Week 9 action on the quarter-mile Thunder Ring next Saturday, July 29, before wrapping up the 2017 season Aug. 5.

Grandstand spectator tickets for the affordable, family-friendly racing series cost just $5, with children ages 5 and younger are admitted free. Gates open at 6 p.m., and feature races begin just after 7:30 p.m.

For more information, contact the Atlanta Motor Speedway ticket office at (770) 946-4211, (877) 9-AMS-TIX or visit www.atlantamotorspeedway.com.
