Athens Drive student accused of assaulting teacher
An Athens Drive High School student was charged Friday with assault on a school employee after a fight.

RALEIGH, N.C. — An Athens Drive High School student was charged Friday with assault on a school employee after a fight.
According to an arrest warrant, Christian Alexander Suggs, 17, of 105 Ribbon Lane, punched an employee on the right side of the head while she was trying to break up a fight Friday morning.
Suggs was also charged with simple assault after punching another person in the head, the warrant states.
He was given a $3,000 secured bond and is scheduled to be in court on the charges next month.
