The ArtsCenter in Carrboro, always a leader in providing Triangle families with great, award-winning, critically acclaimed entertainment, is at it again with another SuperFun series season for families.

It starts up Oct. 19 with the very popular kindie rocker Justin Roberts, the Grammy-nominated and award winning children's performer who has played The ArtsCenter for more than a dozen years and now does major shows across the country.

My family has been to just about all of his shows for the last five years or so when he comes to the Triangle and I highly recommend them and his music. I've written many times about Roberts over the years (check the box for more). And I had the chance to chat with him this week. I'll have more next week about that.

Here's the line-up as of right now:

Oct. 19: Justin Roberts
Nov. 16: The Three Little Pigs by Opera Express
Feb. 1: Gustafer Yellowgold (another great kindie act and favorite at my house)
Feb. 22: Rapunzel by Rags To Riches Theatre for Young Audiences
Mar. 22: Are You My Mother? by ArtsPower National Touring Theatre

April 26: Once Upon a Time by Bright Star Touring Theatre

The ArtsCenter has other family friendly entertainment lined up. Click here for details. These shows are generally good for toddlers to grade schoolers.
It also provides some great after school programs, camps and workshops for all ages. Check the website for details.

And stay tuned next week for a chance to win tickets to see Justin Roberts on Oct. 19!
