Art museum family movie series launches this week
The hour-long program, which runs at 1 p.m., Wednesdays, through Aug. 21, features short live action and animated films that you won't see at your average movie theater.

In other words, families will get an opportunity to see all kinds of ways that stories can be told through film. As part of the series, the art museum in west Raleigh also will have some free crafts for kids at noon before each of the movies.
Admission to the movie is free, but you will need to get a ticket from the box office. The movies are best for kids ages 5 and up. Kids under 12 must be with an adult.
