Officers arrested 23-year-old Dontray Cumberlander and 23-year-old Greydon Hansen a short time later. They are charged with two counts of murder. It wasn't known if they have lawyers.

— Authorities say an argument in the parking lot of a bar in Hickory led to the shootings deaths of three people.

Hickory police spokeswoman Chrystal Dieter said in a news release that two men fired on five people Friday outside J. McCroskey's Irish Pub and Grill around 2:15 a.m.

During the shooting, the suspects fired upon the victims while they were inside their vehicle in the parking lot. There is no known connection at this time between the victims and suspects, officials said.

Authorities didn't say what the men were arguing about, but the victims and suspects had just left the pub when the disagreement started.

Dieter said Justin Aiken, Cody Bouphavong and Quajuae Alexus Kennedy, all 21, were killed. A fourth person was treated and released and a fifth person was not injured.

Police say they were given a description of the car the shooter drove off in.

The article first says 2 deaths, then names 3 people killed. How is that possible?
