RALEIGH, N.C. — A 17-year-old Enloe High School student was arrested early Saturday after he allegedly stole 15 handguns from a gun store in the 4400 block of Craftsman Drive, Raleigh police said.

Officers arrested Jvon Plas Sneed, who was wearing a dark jacket and carrying the guns in a duffle bag, shortly before 2 a.m. near Eagle 1 Supply.

Authorities would not release information about his charges.

According to investigators, Sneed stole 19 handguns from the store in a robbery on May 11.

Kevin Johnson, the gun shop owner, said he put extra security measures in place following the first break-in.

"I wasn't amused at all. I am very upset. The good news is that I was very confident with the Raleigh police and the ATF and they did an outstanding job on the second go round," said Johnson.

Earlier this year, Sneed was charged with larceny, breaking and entering and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He is expected to face a judge Tuesday.
