Armed robbery reported in Durham

— Police are investigating an armed robbery at an Advance Auto Parts, located at 2206 N. Roxboro Road, Sunday night.

Two men armed with guns and wearing masks and gloves walked into the business at about 7:42 p.m. and stole an undisclosed amount of money, police said. The two men fled on foot.

No injuries were reported and no shots were fired, police said.

A description of the suspects was not immediately available.

    Why doesn't Advance Auto install store cameras ? That could go a long way to deterring a robbery. Several of them were robbed last year, yet the company doesn't change much of anything (ie lighting, etc).

    No worse than any other city. Durham is a city within a County (Durham) it's not like Wake County with many cities to put the blame on so is Wake County not bad?? I beg to differ.
