Armed men rob Clayton restaurant

The Wake County Sheriff's Office has asked for the public's help in finding three men who committed an armed robbery at a Clayton restaurant on Friday.

CLAYTON, N.C. — The Wake County Sheriff's Office has asked for the public's help in finding three men who committed an armed robbery at a Clayton restaurant on Friday.

Three men robbed Las Carolinas Grocery and Grill, 4905 Guy Road, around 7:30 p.m. Two of the men carried guns, deputies said.

Witnesses said them left in a white, pick-up truck, heading west on U.S. Highway 70 towards Garner. The pick-up truck was an older model, possibly a Chevrolet, and had regular cab and long bed.

The first robber was described as dark-haired Hispanic man, with a slim build, standing 5 feet 8 inches or 5 feet 9 inches tall. He wore a dark-colored hat and a checkered shirt.
The second robber was described as a 5-foot-4-inch tall Hispanic man, with curly, black hair and a medium build. He had large, dark-pigmented areas on his face. He wore shirt and shorts.

The {{a href-"image-3"}}third robber{{/a}} was described as approximately 30-year-old Hispanic man standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, with an average build. He wore dark sunglasses and a multicolored, burgundy Polo shirt.
