Arkansas Basketball Player Arrested For 1st Degree Assault In Fayetteville

University of Arkansas basketball player Arlando Cook, 21, was arrested early Saturday (Sept. 1) morning for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and first-degree assault.

FAYETTEVILLE, AR — University of Arkansas basketball player Arlando Cook, 21, was arrested early Saturday (Sept. 1) morning for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and first-degree assault.

According to Washington County Detention Center, Cook was booked at approximately 2:37 a.m. He posted a $1,250 bond and was released at 11:57 a.m.

The incident happened on Dickson Street outside of a restaurant.

Cook is a senior athlete and has been with the Razorbacks since 2016.

This isn't Cook's first run-in with the law. On October 2, 2016, he was arrested for public intoxication in Fayetteville.
