TUCSON, ARIZONA — Sun Corridor Inc. loaded a 21-foot saguaro cactus onto a flatbed truck today to be delivered to Jeff Bezos at the Amazon headquarters in Seattle.

This saguaro is meant as a welcome gift and a means to invite Amazon to bring its second headquarters to Tucson and Southern Arizona.

According to a media release from Sun Corridor Inc., Amazon announced its plan to build a second corporate headquarters location late last week.

This project is called, "Project Amazon HQ2."

Joe Snell, president at CEO at Sun Corridor Inc., said in the media release:

"We wanted to make sure Mr. Bezos and his team notice us and send a message of 'we have room for you to grow here for the long term' - nothing signifies that better than a Saguaro."
