Why do the religious think that we should show them "respect"?
Just about everything else in life is fair game but for some bizzare reason we are supposed to be polite to people who think a sky fairy gets to decide who burns forever in hell or who has sex with whom or what we are allowed to eat.
It's possibly a hangover from when religion and power were the same thing and lack of respect could get you burnt at the stake...............but why do modern followers of religion imagine that specific belief is off limits for comments, humor etc?
