RALEIGH — In light of the current situation happening with RBC Centura Bank and the problems plaguing it's customers, I'm wondering if maybe we depend on debit cards too much.
I know I'm guilty. I hardly ever have a significant amount of cash, and it's very common to hear people say: "I don't have any cash." I'm pretty sure that I have less than $10 in my purse at the moment and probably $1 in loose change sitting on my desk.
Maybe we need to start carrying more cash, just in case.
