Apex thrift store plans weekly storytime

From 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursdays, starting Dec. 3, the store at 1402 E. Williams St., Apex, will offer a program that will include a story, a stuffed animal giveaway (one per child) and a weekly drawing among attendees for a gift bag. The store, which will reserve the right to cap the event at 20 families, encourages people to arrive a few minutes early.

Thrift 2 Gift is a faith-based mission with resale stores in Apex and 900 E. Chatham St., Cary. The funds from the Apex store support The Point Church Care Center.
