— Apex police are searching for three women who placed card skimmers on an ATM earlier this week.

Police said the women were caught on surveillance cameras placing the bank card skimmers at a Sun Trust ATM on April 26 and 27. The skimmers were discovered by a Sun Trust employee during a daily check of the ATM, police said.

Anybody with information on the identity of the women is asked to call Apex police at 919-362-8661 or text an anonymous tip to TIP411 using the keyword ApexPD.

Police reminded residents to use safe practices when utilizing ATM machines, including inspecting the door access device before entering a bank, inspecting the machine for items installed over or around the PIN pad, and covering the keypad while typing a PIN.

They look barely old enough to call women, and unable to find a real job to pay off their nail artists, hair stylists and drive through cravings. Sheeessshhh, everyone wants something for nothing these days. Guess mommy and Daddy took their credit cards back. If I knew them, I would make the call, and not hesitate a second.

How do these people think they would get away with this?! Every ATM/bank has cameras. Those pictures are crystal clear...surely someone knows who they are.
