Apex police seek bank robber

— Apex police released surveillance images of a man who robbed a SunTrust Bank inside a grocery store on Monday evening, in the hopes that someone will come forward and identify him.

Police said the man entered the bank, inside Kroger at 940 U.S. Highway 64, around 6:20 p.m. and handed a note demanding money to a teller.

The surveillance images show a white man with brown hair, who was wearing a navy sweatshirt, dark jeans and a gray baseball cap with a white logo on the front.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the robbery is asked to call detectives at 919-362-8661.

    He has a grocery bag in his hand. I wonder if he made any purchases at the store using a credit/debit card. If he did, he is a truely intelligent fellow. LOL

    monca- That would make a little bit of sense if you ignore the fact that the banks will just pass the cost of this back onto us again. Also, we willingly sign up with them. The bank didn't sign up to be robbed by this guy.
