A Go Ask Mom reader shared some information about an event that she's working on:

The Love Big Gathering seeks to join other families to worship, pray, connect and advocate for adoption, foster care and orphan care in the community. It's 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 2, at Apex United Methodist Church.

The program includes a question and answer session about adoption, foster care and orphan care. You'll also hear tips about talking with your child about their story during their different ages and stages. A panel of moms will talk about their real life experiences.

The registration cost is $20. Lunch will be provided. The program is sponsored by the Children of God Adoption Support Group at the church.
