Halle Cultural Arts Center in downtown Apex has been offering free or very cheap movies for at least a year now on a regular basis.
I thought I'd mention some scheduled for this month. They'll show "The Lion King" at 10 a.m., Jan. 15. It's free (but space is limited).
And starting at 9 a.m., Jan. 26, the center will hold a 90s Movie Marathon, including "Toy Story," "Mulan," "Space Jam," "Hook," Mrs. Doubtfire," and "Forest Gump." The last movie will end around 10:30 p.m. The movies are free, but there will be a charge for concessions.
Check in with the center at 919-249-1120 for details on both.
