Annual concert raises funds for wounded veterans
The Second Annual Wounded Warriors Concert is this Saturday in Durham. The money raised
Posted — UpdatedThe concert features five live bands and musicians, including The Real Laww, a Durham native and member of the Marine Corps who organized the concert. He served two tours in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan, and hopes this year's benefit brings in even more support for his fellow soldiers in need.
Other performers include Toon, The Chit Nasty Band, Jessica Long and The New Kind and DJ Shahzad.
Tickets are $10 in advance, and the show sold out last year, so it's best to buy tickets early. If any remain on the day of the show, tickets are $15. Members of the military get in free with a valid military ID.
