DURHAM, N.C. — Durham's First Wounded Warriors Concert in 2012 sold out – so this year, the event has grown even bigger.
The Second Annual Wounded Warriors Concert will be held at Motorco Music Hall this Saturday. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9 p.m.

The concert features five live bands and musicians, including The Real Laww, a Durham native and member of the Marine Corps who organized the concert. He served two tours in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan, and hopes this year's benefit brings in even more support for his fellow soldiers in need.

Other performers include Toon, The Chit Nasty Band, Jessica Long and The New Kind and DJ Shahzad.

Proceeds from the show will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project based in Jacksonville, Fla. The organization provides assistance to wounded service members and raises awareness for injured soldiers' needs.

Tickets are $10 in advance, and the show sold out last year, so it's best to buy tickets early. If any remain on the day of the show, tickets are $15. Members of the military get in free with a valid military ID.
