— Johnston County sheriff's deputies arrested an Angier man Sunday night after he allegedly opened fire on his two brothers after an argument erupted at a house on N.C. Highway 210.

Anthony Sosa, 21, was charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to inflict serious harm, two counts of injury to personal property and one count of first-degree burglary, authorities said. He was being held at the Johnston County jail under a $250,000 bond Monday.

Sosa's brothers, whose names were not released, were treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities were called to 9779 N.C. 210 shortly after 10:30 p.m. in response to a shooting. Deputies said two brothers were arguing inside the house when Sosa came from a barn on the property with a shotgun and began shooting at a car and through the windows of the house. He eventually went inside, authorities said, and fired at least 20 rounds altogether.

They will not ever learn; not even when death occurs. That is sad isn't it?

How are parents really raising their children today? Sad times we now live in. When will we all learn. Teach your children the danger of being around loaded guns of any kind. Its your responsibility to do so, or get someone to do it for you. Be safe is all I am trying to get across to you.

When everyone in the family is armed...and they get into an argument...this result isn't very surprising. I guess if they could all take each other out, they'd be doing society a favor.

Sad when all you have is pride and a gun.

"Not just in Durham, folks. It really is a widespread problem."

I think at least in Durham, someone would call the cops if they heard gunfire. Gunfire is so common out in that area that there's really no way to know if someone just shot their spouse or if they're just out target practicing.

It was a shotgun! I am sure if he was actually aiming it at someone he would have hurt them or killed them. Yes he should be arrested but please don't get on a pro-con gun rights tangent like many of you GOLOs like to do.
