American Meltdown opens at Streets of Southpoint

DURHAM, N.C. — American Meltdown food truck has opened its first brick-and-mortar location. You can now get some grilled cheesy goodness at the food court at the Streets of Southpoint Mall in Durham. Fans of the truck will be happy to know that the restaurant's menu will feature their famous melts (grilled cheeses), including the Cubano, Buffalo Blitz and Pigs and Figs. The menu also includes brussel sprouts and fries. This is the second food truck to open in the Durham mall.  Earlier this year, Porchetta opened at the food court.

On Sunday, Nov. 15, there will be a Holiday Bazaar in Carrboro at the Carrboro Town Commons. There will be more than 60 craft and arts vendors, in addition to food trucks Bandido’s, Bo’s Kitchen, Gussy’s, Napoli Gourmet Wood Fire Pizza, and SoomSoom Pita Pockets. Steel String Brewery and Bull City Ciderworks will also be on hand.
