Hickory boy, 9, found safe following Amber Alert
The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons canceled an Amber Alert for a 9-year-old Hickory boy at about 5 a.m. Tuesday after he was found safe.
Posted — UpdatedHICKORY, N.C. — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons canceled an Amber Alert for a 9-year-old Hickory boy at about 5 a.m. Tuesday after he was found safe. Ramon Duran Garcia was taken from the St. Stepehens Mobile Home Park, at 2102 24th St. in Hickory, during the early-morning hours Tuesday. He came back home shortly before 5 a.m. It was unclear who had him or if anyone would face charges in the incident. No other information about Garcia's abduction has been released.
