RALEIGH, N.C. — We were live tweeting during last night's episode of The Amazing Race, and in case you missed it, here's a recap of what happened.

Hockey brothers Bates and Anthony Battaglia are still in the competition after finishing eighth in the longest leg ever of The Amazing Race. After landing in Bali, Indonesia, on the second flight available, they got stuck with an incompetent taxi driver and got lost on the way to the Monkey Forest. Luckily they caught up on the next challenges, although it was painful to watch Bates run past the stairs he was looking for in the surfboard roadblock.

One of our other favorites, Team Mullet, was spared elimination thanks to the incompetence of Jessica and John. They were stuck on the surfboard challenge with Team Mullet and chose not to use their Express Pass for some reason. John was trying to play it off by saying, "I don't need a million dollars anyway," but his girlfriend looked both angry and disappointed. They're the first team ever to be eliminated while holding an express pass, something host Phil Keoghan was astounded by (the episode ended with him looking at the camera with an incredulous look on his face).

The father/son duo of Dave and Connor finished first again, with best friends Pam and Winnie coming in a close second. So for now, even with an injured team member, father and son are not giving up.

The two roadblock challenges were "Fruity Top" or "Sandy Bottom," and only the roller derby moms chose the Sandy Bottom challenge. They had to go into the river, scoop wet sand into a basket on their head, carry it up the stairs and deliver it to the brickmaker. It looked like a lot of work, but they powered through!

In the Fruity Top challenge, teams had to perfectly recreate a fruit display and transport it to a temple as a religious offering. Some teams were able to finish this very quickly, but others had trouble (Jessica and John, who were eliminated, couldn't figure out why their display wasn't good enough, so they switched challenges halfway through. That would've been a great time to use the Express Pass.).

After the challenges, teams headed to a surf beach, where one member had to find their way to a surf shop and select the board with a "familiar face" on it. Then they had to find their way up a hill to the finish line, and if they had picked the wrong board, they had to go all the way back and try again. The correct board had the priest's face who had blessed every team in an earlier episode, and again, some teams picked him out of the crowd right away, while others were stumped.

Those were the highlights of last night's episode! What were your favorite parts?
