Amazing Race recap: Cheese, please

Who knew that it would be a technicality of cheesy proportions that would lead to the demise of one of our favorite teams? 

I was a big fan of Team Mullet (Chuck and Wynona), but not last night. I was on Team Wynona because Chuck was just a jerk the entire episode. From just about dragging her down the icy streets in Switzerland to not saying he was proud of her for climbing out on a Swiss Alp to get the Travelocity gnome, he was the picture of a bad teammate, not to mention a bad partner. 

Note: When Wynona did ask him to at least say "good job" to her, he responded with "good job. Our children don't need to grow up without a mother." Did we also mention that he jokingly (at least we hope it was jokingly) said he'd wait a month to remarry if she plummeted to her death on the mountain? 

It all came down to the cheese wheel challenge: Transport 200 lbs of cheese down a snowy hill using two sleds. Each wheel was 50 lbs or so. Wynona and Chuck completed the challenge and would have still been in the race had they not rolled the cheese down the hill. They got a 30 minute penalty, which allowed Team YouTube to squeak by once again. 

In other developments, Team Hockey Brothers Anthony and Bates Battaglia finished first again! So happy for them! They won a trip for two to Bora Bora. Wonder if they will be asking the country singers to join them?
