RALEIGH, N.C. — Police have charged a Raleigh man with accessory after the fact to murder in a car-crash-turned-homicide last month on Capital Boulevard.
Archie Lee Huff, 34, of 3213 Edgetone Drive, was arrested Tuesday for allegedly helping Rashand Nicholas Fitts, 30, escape after the shooting of

24-year-old Travis Donovan Rhodes.

Investigators say Rhodes was driving a car when it veered left, crossed the median and stopped on the other side of the road on the night of May 24.

Rhodes was taken to a local hospital, where it was discovered he had been shot.

Authorities haven't commented on a motive for the shooting.

Fitts surrendered to police May 26 and is being held without bond in the Wake County jail. Huff was jailed Wednesday afternoon under a $500,000 secured bond.
