All You Magazine going out of business

All You Magazine is going out of business and the last issue will be in December 2015.

I called the Customer Service number at 1-866-212-9065 to see how they were going to handle subscriptions. I was informed that they are not issuing refunds and that after the December issue, we would receive a replacement Magazine from Time Inc. for the remainder of the subscription. I asked if I would be able to pick the magazine and the customer service person said he did not know yet. They just received the notice and they were not sure how this will be handled. He suggested I call back in a few weeks or wait to receive an e-mail from All You with details on how subscriptions will be handled.

Fortunately, my subscription ends in April 2016 and it was free with points so I am not losing a large sum of money.

The customer service person did recommend that I cancel auto renewal on my subscription (which I never agreed to in the first place) and he took care of that for me.

It will be interesting to see what they do about the remaining subscriptions.

Owned by Time Inc., All You Magazine has been publication for 11 years. I think I have been getting it for about 10 of those years. Although I will miss the articles, the only real reason I had a subscription was for the coupons. The magazine used to include a large number of manufacturer's coupons in past years, but recently, there have been very few coupons in each issue.

    I am not surprised. I stopped subscribing about 2 years ago when they stopped putting a lot of coupons in the magazine. I think many of us subscribed just for the coupons and for me the articles were just a bonus!

    Initially, I really enjoyed the magazine, but this last year the coupons have been scant and the articles not as useful. Still, I hate they are going out of business....another situation in which jobs will be lost is always sad.

    My subscription ends in a year. I got the subscription for the coupons, shortly thereafter is when the coupons began getting scarce. I will not miss it. I wonder why they continue trying to get subscribers to renew when they know they are going out of business.

    I am sorry to hear that the magazine will no longer be published .
    I wonder why ?
    It is very popular and is available thru many subscription "services " ( home delivery or digital ) .
    MAybe sponsors left - which would also explain the lower number of coupons (?)

    I subscribed for 2 years, which ends July 2016. I also subscribed for the coupons, however, I noticed that the last few issues had less coupons. I enjoyed reading the articles, but I planned not to renew. I hope they will let us choose, because I would add on to my Good Housekeeping.

    I've been a subscriber for several years - mostly for the coupons. I did get a handful of good recipes out of it including one for crock-pot minestrone that's my youngest son's favorite. I had already decided to let my subscription expire (next month) so I guess "that's all folks"! Thanks for the info, Faye.

    I was at the dentist office yesterday and noticed two current issues on the table. I was super excited because it's SD at HT and of course we all know ALL YOU has tons of coupons. Well I was quickly disappointed as I was flipping through the magazine. One issue had no coupons (and no one had cut any out) and the other only have about 4 coupons. I agree Faye, they have some great articles. I wonder what happened.

    newssaavy72 - from what I can tell, both the print and online magazines will be shutting down. Sorry.
