Due to technical difficulties tonight, the WRAL website briefly displayed a banner that stating that schools in Wake, Johnston and Orange counties were reporting delays or closings.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Due to technical issues, the WRAL website briefly displayed a message Thursday night stating that closings or delays were reported in Wake, Johnston and Orange counties.

This message was displayed incorrectly as the result of a test of the WRAL school closings system in preparation for Hurricane Hermine. The website did not actually list any specific closings or delay information for those three specific counties, despite the message in the alert bar at the top of the homepage.

All three school districts will be open and operating on a normal schedule Friday.
